Folio Magazine

Folio is a nice newsprint zine co-edited by Merve Kaptan and Charlie Coffey. It is designed as a two dimensional exhibition space especially for three-dimensional, time-based and de-materialised works. In ever issue the work of four artists is presented. Each time by a different guest editor who will bring influences from other disciplines including music, architecture and writing into the issues…

At the moment Folio started an open call looking for artists working with sound, performance, moving image and sculptural practices who are interested in presenting their work in a two-dimensional, printed format.

You can send ideas, proposals and/or web links to the Folio editors by March 15th, 2011.

The pictures below show the Folio zero issue with works by bumf collective, siân robinson davies, ben dawson and dead photographers project.
